Back in 2009, Thaddeus Joven Guzik was just a average teen in High School. When convinced by friends from school, he was later introduced into the scene, where he then fell in love with the people, and more so, the music.
Before getting in touch with his musical talent, He was first off a "kandi kid", making pony bead bracelets and handing them out to people he got to know at events. It was at this point where he was nicknamed, "Wonka".
When Wonka began his passion for music, he started off by making simple tunes and mashups on FL Studio. DJ ciN, a friend and fellow DJ, eventually gave him the chance to practice on Pioneer CDJs. Wonka began spinning Electro and Progressive House tracks by artists such as David Guetta, Deadmau5, Wolfgang Gartner, Bad Boy Bill, and Kaskade.
Between 2009 and 2010, Alter Solum was opened, a bar and club opened in Chinatown, Honolulu, HI for various underground scenes. Wonka took this as an oppurtunity to get his name out there. Spinning along side many friends, who are now are renown DJs in Hawaii (MassFunk, A.B.N., Revive, etc.), Wonka would spin on open-deck nights along with few events held in this venue. However, the venue got shut down due to various incidents, leaving many of these DJs with no gigs.
Along the lines, Wonderland Entertainment, formally known as Rapture, began holding yearly (to what is now 4 times a year) events which offered many aspiring and upcoming DJs a chance to spin, not only for the massive crowds they would haul in, but along side Headliners from all over. Wonka was then spinning at a few of these events as well as at Mondaze, an event held by Tron of Astronauts By Night. At the time, His Genre changed more over to Progressive House and even Progressive Psy-Trance.

After years of maintaining the reputation of Wonka for as long as he could, He felt it was time to move on. The name, to him, seemed more like, "the party-goer more then the DJ with a love of music". Suggestions from fellow DJs where to use his actual name led him to dub himself, Jude Jove; Jude, being the name of one the Apostles (Jude Thaddeus), and Jove, being short for his middle name, Joven.
Jude Jove was more, "professional sounding and a good fresh start to transition to the style [He] wanted." Jude Jove now aims to get his mix of Tech Trance and melodic Electro out there, eventually to produce amongst various Headliners, to share his and others love for Electronic Dance Music everywhere.
